A Few Pretty Pictures

Just thought I'd post these pretty fall photos of Samantha I took a few weekends ago. I love fall!

In case you can't see, her hair is in French braid-ponytails.

Bye for now!

A Sewing Flop, a Shoe Sale, and Happy Turkey Day

Let me just confirm that sewing a LJ pattern without a sewing machine is really, really impossible. If you're me, anyway.

Just thought I'd tell you.

I guess that means this blog will mainly focus on doll photography until I figure out if my mom's super old sewing machine really is broken.

Also, I'm a little dissapointed. The Liberty Jane shoe and boot sale started about 40 minutes ago. The high tops are still available, but I think I might wait until they release a whole new shoe line. Before Christmas, preferably.

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving, a little late!

A Quick Intro

Hey! I'm "Olive," the brain behind the blog, "From the Files of Clever Kit" and the Youtube channel missdancergrl99 (which, by the way, is really lame right now and needs improvement. Seriously, the videos are kind of bad.)

Anyway, I started my OWN blog for a couple of reasons...
1. I though it would be kind of awkward for a human to just randomly start talking about stuff on a blog that supposedly belonged to a doll. When and if I ever start improving my Youtube, I'll post about the videos here.
2. I just downloaded some free patterns from Liberty Jane (I'm a bit of a cheapskate, heehee) and want to start sewing them.

Basically, I can talk about sewing projects, wishlists, and whatever else pops into my head here without breaking the "identity" on Kit's blog--and if you don't know about that, click here. Tell me what you think of the photos and stuff!

Since it's Thanksgiving week, I have no school. I'm planning on sewing the LJ spaghetti strap tank from an old camisole of mine. I don't have a sewing machine :( so that will probably take awhile. I'm surprisingly neat at sewing by hand. I'm supposed to sew my own point shoe ribbons for ballet, but I rarely do because of my insane after-school schedule.

I'm getting kind of off-topic now, which usually happens when I write posts from my perspective instead of a doll's. I'm a pretty good writer, I guess. Ugh, there I go again, getting off-topic! I better end this post before you end up reading about unicorns or something.

Stay tuned for dolls, projects, and more!

Yours,
"Olive"
